Atency (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Atency mobile application (“the Service”).

Atency is a personal-use time and attendance tracking app with no business, governmental, or financial affiliations. Your data is never shared with third parties and is only used to support your personal experience within the app.

1. Information We Collect

  • Registration Data: Name and email address (provided during sign-up)
  • Location Data: Your real-time location at the moment of clock-in/clock-out for attendance logging
  • Device Data: Non-personal technical information such as device type, OS version, and anonymized crash reports

2. Purpose of Data Collection

We collect and use your data solely to:

  • Create and manage your personal user account
  • Log attendance events accurately using your device’s real-time location
  • Improve the reliability and performance of the Service
  • Respond to user inquiries or support requests

We do not collect financial data, browsing history, or any data unrelated to the attendance functionality of the app.

3. Use of Location Data

Location access is required only when you manually log attendance (e.g., clock-in/clock-out). We do not track your location in the background or at any other time.

You may deny location access, but some features of the Service will not function properly without it.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is securely stored on our servers and is not shared with or sold to any third party. We use standard encryption and access controls to prevent unauthorized access. However, no internet-based service can guarantee 100% security.

5. Data Deletion and Account Removal

You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us at atency.co@gmail.com. Upon request, all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers.

6. Children’s Privacy

Atency is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If such data is discovered, we will remove it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The latest version will always be available within the app or via the official policy page. Significant changes will be announced within the app.
